The place to relax in autumn Kiev

My previous visit in Kiev (the capital of Ukraine) was in late spring. The city was already in green trees and the famous chestnuts were in bloom. Yes, it was the best time to walk and admire the city.

But this time I came to Kiev in middle of autumn. The sky was covered with heavy and dark clouds, that did not promise sunny days, and that picture was completed by the dribble. In other words, the ordinary dull day. Everyone can feel upset. But the true traveller can solve every problem and always find something to see and get admire. This time I had discovered the A.V.Fomin Botanical Garden. It is easy to reach because it locates in the heart of the city, just at the exit of "Universytet" (University) subway station, line M1. Being one of the oldest botanical gardens in Ukraine, the Garden is famous for its exotic plants. The collection includes the succulents from the countries of the former Soviet Union and the greenhouse is among the highest in the world. It had been built for the largest and the oldest palm trees in the Northern Eurasia.

But when I had entered the garden I was surprised by silence even the traffic was just some tens meters there and my attention was attracted by cover of green-and-yellow-and-golden leaves on the ground and trees. Really, it was one of the best places for relaxation and get good mood in autumn dull days.

So, I decided to invite you for a promende about the garden and feel the inner peace and tranquilty.

Squirrels. The squirrels live in the garden and practically don't afraid of people.

You can feed them with nuts. First, you must call them. Just take two walnuts and begin to knock them. Stay quiet near the tree and wait for the squirrel. When they appear give the nuts in open hand, throw on the ground or put then into the bark.

Take some seeds with you to feed the tits who also live here
We proceed to walk over the garden. Generally it represents an area of alternation of elevations and descents.

The roots of trees expose on the slopes and sometimes form the fancy webs or figures

Hope you had enjoyed this short-tem promende and know what to visit nex time when you come to Kiev. The entry to garden is free except the excursions.
